The same sequence whether you’re moving off PCLaw or onto Actionstep — because the risk in any migration is the same: trust balances that don’t survive the move intact.
- Discovery & data audit — every trust and general ledger balance is verified against your current system before anything moves.
- Parallel run — old and new systems run side by side until trust balances reconcile to the cent.
- Cutover & training — staff are trained on the new system’s trust workflows before the old one is retired.
- First month-end sign-off — we stay on through your first close in the new system to confirm nothing slipped.
